Early 19th Century English Mahogany Pembroke Table with Brass Ring Pulls

About the Item

A refined early 19th century English Pembroke table in solid mahogany, notable for its restrained Regency-era design and clean proportions. The rectangular top features two drop leaves supported by swing-out wooden brackets, offering flexible use as a side, writing, or occasional table. What appears to be a functioning drawer is, in fact, a faux drawer front, detailed with original brass ring pulls and delicate line inlay—serving purely as a decorative element. Raised on slender tapered legs, the table’s understated elegance is complemented by its warm patina and crisp silhouette. An excellent example of early 19th century English craftsmanship, with graceful form and subtle decorative detail. (Width is 19” 3/4 closed, and 38” open)
