About the Item
I wanted to see what the interaction was between the shapes of an extruded pentagon and one of it’s 5 identical isosceles triangles. By separating the moment, on either side of the triangular base, where the two forms merge into one another, a striking asymmetry emerges that creates a piece which shifts it’s appearance constantly depending on the line of sight.
