A vintage Italian Provincial style paint decorated end table with distressed patina finish. Dating to the mid-20th century, featuring artistic Florentine artisan découpage. Florence, Italy. Drum table form, Louis XV taste, having a large shaped top with elaborate serpentine shaped molded edges. The tabletop adorned with beautiful polychrome decoupage butterfly and flower decoration, atop wire lattice panel double-door cabinet with generous storage, elegant rounded wood case in hand painted light green and cream finish, gracefully curvacious scalloped apron, rising on traditional French cabriole legs, ending in whorl feet. Light and airy coloring with warm, mellow, distressed antique patina finish that adds to the sophisticated character, elegant warmth, and rustic old world European charm. Dimensions: (approx) 22.5" High, 27" Wide, 27" Deep As attractive as it is functional, having the ideal size and proportions for a variety of different uses, including as a oversized chair side table, bedside nightstand, cocktail -coffee table, low centre table, lamp stand, or fabulous country cottage accent piece!
