A Late 18th C. Italian Walnut Farm Table with Carved Skirt, 6 Ft Long
About the Item
An Italian rustic carved-walnut farm table from the turn of the 18th and 19th century. This antique table from Italy has a rectangular-shaped top which overhangs the apron below which has beautifully carved skirting along all four sides, and is raised upon four squared and gently tapering legs that terminate into blunt arrow feet. The medium tone walnut wood has a wonderful old patina throughout; a lovely reflection of its centuries old age (and added character!). Please note that there is some slight bowing of the table top. Leg clearance is approximately 23.5" between table skirt and floor. This late 18th century Italian walnut farm table, with decoratively-carved skirting, is a nice medium sized piece at just over 6 feet in length.
