About the Item

A French occasional table with star accent from the 18th century. The antique oak table from France features a rectangular shaped top, with a decorative star medallion inlay at it's center, which overhangs the apron below, with straight molding along it's skirt, and is nicely raised on four squared legs which taper towards their feet. The oak has a rich, dark stain, and there is a wonderful patina found throughout this piece, as you would expect from an 18th century table. This antique French table has a measurement of 22.25" from beneath the table top to the floor, should you choose to use it as a small dining or games table.
