18th Century French Rococo Gaming / Console Table with reversible top

About the Item

convertible console rococo around 1750 Richly inlaid rectangular top on delicate walnut base with carved buck hooves. Elaborate frame construction with reversible top with interned fields for coach and mill, underneath is a field for tric-trac, which corresponds to the nowadays known backgammon. The substance is in original condition, the surface was refreshed with a shellac-wax hand polish.
