About the Item
Antique Sheraton period card or game table, circa 1790-1820. Made from mahogany with crotch mahogany veneer, featuring an inlaid flip top octagonal demilune top supported by square tapered legs. Each leg showcases oval inlay over striping and stringing inlay. Once expanded the table is supported by the fourth leg which swings behind to hold the top.

Fair condition, structurally solid, wear and distressing commensurate with age and use, warping to top, fading, splitting, past repairs, at some point hinges moved from mid point of table to outside edges, allowing for a smooth surface.
