A very rare example, I have never seen this type of 3D map before, it is 170+ years old and wonderfully patinated as you can see. The table is all in burr walnut including the chessboard top, if you flip that top over you have the baize card playing surface
The legs and pedestal are equally decorative and the legs are finished with solid brass castors, this table is really a work of art, you will never find another like it
Condition wise we have cleaned waxed and polished it, there will be normal age and use related patina marks here and there, the map is all original and has discoloured as you would expect, really it looks exactly the same as any unrestored map from this era

Please note vintage period and original items such as leather seating will always have natural patina in the form of cracking creasing and wear, we recommend regular waxing to ensure no moisture is lost, also hand dyed leather is not recommended to sit in direct sunlight for prolonged periods of time as it will dry out and fade.
