This stylish Victorian piece has an ebonised finish which is a smooth slightly shiny black finish which was made popular after the death of Prince Albert, pieces like this are often called mourning Furniture
The top of the table twists round and opens out to reveal a red base playing area and a small storage compartment for keeping Playing Cards and other games
The Table stands on elegant turned legs with casters and an H gallery beneath
The table has no wobbles or creaks it has been well loved and used, as you would expect it has minor signs of wear
The table is 30” high it is 36” long and 18” deep, or 36” square when fully opened out
