English Edwardian Mahogany Chess or Checkers Games Table with Handkerchief Top

A fine English Edwardian mahogany games table with folding handkerchief top, opening to a tooled leather gaming chess or checker board, counter wells on each corner, satinwood border and line inlay, felted corners, over a conforming frieze with a single drawer, and original brass hardware, all supported by four square tapered inlaid legs with casters. Dates to the early 20th century in very good overall condition, with minor edge rubs, light surface scratches, minor leather surface imperfections, and wear commensurate with age and use. Dimensions: 29.25 in H x 22 in W x 21.75 in D (top closed); 28.63 in H x 30.75 in W x 30.63 in D (top opened). Ref: 8
