About the Item
This Irish George II/III carved walnut concertina action fold over games table is a fine example of Irish furniture from the mid-18th century. Made of solid walnut with a carved top and cabriole legs. The top folds down to reveal a floral print fabric lining the interior. Ready for playing cards or games. Table is in good condition and has a rich, warm patina. The top is carved with acanthus leaves and flowers and features a small pullout drawer for storage. Features cabriole legs ending in lion paw feet.
