About the Item

A George III (1760-1820) Mahogany Serpentine Fronted Card Table. In the Chippendale style, this card table has gate legs to the back opening to provide a base and support to the top when opened. When opened it makes this wall table into a centrepiece in which a couple of friends or family can play cards, once done fold the top, close the legs and it returns to the classy serpentine table, which can be put back up against a wall. The card table opens to reveal a lovely green baize surface.
