Extendable table, designed by Danuta Lewandowska, Poland in the 1960s.
Neat, not too big, not too small, a fold-out table from the PRL, with a neat form that pleases everyone rather. Perfect for small rooms, kitchens or studios.
For one person, it will be great as a work station. I would like to add that a person who is not very tall, because despite the fact that his height is appropriate, due to the slanted legs (which gives him the uniqueness of the body), the space between them is not the largest one that one could dream of.
He seems more youthful. It can be extended by 40 cm. Then it becomes not cut from a meter, but from a meter forty. And that's something.
Preserved in a very good natural condition, thanks to our refreshing treatments, it looks really good.

About the designer:
Jindrich Halabala (24 May 1903 Korycany – 18 November 1978 Brno) was a Czech furniture designer, theoretician, publicist and teacher. He became famous above all for his stylish furniture designs for the Brno UP factories between 1925 and 1955, where he worked as chief designer. Thanks to this position, he fundamentally influenced the appearance of inter-war and post-war Czech households.
