This set, comprising a game table and its accompanying chairs, captures the essence of postmodern design prevalent in the 1970s. The game table has a round top, concealing a chessboard beneath a green felt surface which is surrounded by black faux leather. With a seating capacity for five game players, each competitor has its own personal drawer equipped with a tiny aluminum ashtray. The round base is joined by a footrest in chrome-plated steel. The chairs, in line with the table's aesthetic, present a cantilever tubular frame, characterized by gracefully curved lines. The chairs are upholstered in thick leather in the color black and, in combination with the chrome-plated steel, the design embodies a modern and minimalist look. All in all, a very pragmatic and fun set that will serve as a standout in one's interior.
Please note that the set is in fair condition with constructive flaws, scratches, and discoloration of the leather. Restoration can be done before shipping by our experienced craftspeople in our own in-house restoration atelier.
