Maison Baguès, Very rare set of 3 nesting tables, France. The base is made from bamboo brass typical for Maison Bagues, the glass top has got the original silver and gold reflecting mirror still intact. The production of these glass tops was a rare technique, used by Fontana Arte, Max Ingrand or Pietro Chiesa extensively. The tops are still in good condition with little rub-off on the backside here and there. One has got a minimal chip at one corner, considering the age of 80 years the glass tops are in good condition. The brass has got its original patina, the bases are in stable and good condition. Dimensions from large to small: 21.25“ x 19.5“ x 16.14“(height) 20“ x 18.5“ 15.1" 19“ x 17.5“ x 14" It’s getting smaller by an inch per table basically.
