19th Century Onyx Marble and Gilt Bronze Pedestal

About the Item

An impressive onyx marble and gilt bronze mounted pedestal, with square top tray, ideal for the display of a large and valued indoor plant or piece of sculpture. This decorative column stands on a double stack of square, stepped platform bases, ornamented with bronze decoration and terminating in chamfered bracket feet. Please note that, in keeping with its age and usage, there are some small areas of damage to the plinth, as well as some chipping on the upper tray edge.
