About the Item
Extraordinary Pair of Italianate Chinoiserie style figural stand comprised of gesso and carved wood in the form of a seated male and female bearing a diamond form tray. The figures are surmounted on a gilt decorated tripod scrolled base. One with partial sticker on verso.
Dimensions: 20 1/2" W, 15 1/2" D and 41 3/8" H
Condition: Please see photos for details of condition. Additionally, the male pedestal with repair to the shoulder. The tray is flaking at previous surface restoration. The female with a chip to corner of tray. Overall there are some sporadic finish losses, stable age cracks and finish loss mentioned for accuracy as the Pair retain an incredible and magical presentation.
