About the Item
An elegant matching pair of 20th c., Continental (probably Italian) Greco-Roman style tripod stands with ebonized and parcel gilt finish, unmarked. The pedestals each have a tripod body with x-form supports on a paw feet scroll triform base. These attractive pedestals are quite decorative yet sufficiently restrained to take on a supporting role if used to display fine objects.
