JASPER "Generations" Inlaid Mahogany Chippendale Style Secretary Desk
About the Item
A Chippendale style secretary desk by Jasper Cabinet Company, their "Generations" model. Inlaid mahogany, brass hardware, pediment top with inlaid medallion, crown molding, inlaid desk lid and bracket feet. Upper cabinet features two adjustable plate grooved glass shelves behind dual glass doors with fretwork and is lighted. Bottom features auto-slide out supports for lockable drop front desk top which conceals five small drawers and nine cubbies. Includes one key. One piece construction. Made in the USA, in the late 20th Century.
Measures: overall: 36W 18.75D 84H, desk open: 31.25D, knee clearance: 28H
Very good condition with signs of use. Blemishes to desk top and inside bottom of top cabinet. Doors, drawers, slant desk top and desk top supports function properly. Has one key. Structurally sound and sturdy. Condition Rating: 8.5 / 10.0
