About the Item

18th century small oak side table with drop leaves. The top is simple and opens to measure 26.25 inches x 26.25 inches with the leaves extended. There are two slides that extend beneath the leaves to support the leaves on either side of the table. The apron of the table is scalloped on each end for added attraction from either side view. The top is supported on hand turned and slightly splayed legs, joined by simple stretchers. The legs are wonderfully hand-turned. The table has acquired a lovely and rich patina over the years.
