About the Item

Circa 1920-1940 Brazilian side table made from monkey puzzle wood. The top features many specimen of butterflies, which are rare and important. This was made for the European market and displays multiple species of butterflies under glass. The wood is rare and is hand turned to show off the amazing graining of this rare wood. The color and finish are absolutely exceptional.
