Cube 01.1 is a side table inspired by Sol LeWitt’s Incomplete open cubes, an art collection demonstrating 122 possibilities to construct an unfinished cube. Sol LeWitt was a famous American conceptual artist and founding father of minimalism as an art form. Throughout his career LeWitt moved many people with his modest yet fantastic works of art. This source of inspiration led to the design of cube 01. The combination of both natural and Industrial materials gives cube 01 its powerful edginess. Consisting of an incomplete cube as a support and a transparent surface as a tabletop. The support unit is made out of fine wood beams, supported by a brushed stainless steel frame. This collectible piece comes in a limited edition. Whether DP’s and/or WP’s are produced and whether they are kept are at barh’s discretion only.
