Danish Folk Art Side Table in Solid Oak, Wabi Sabi Style, Early 19th Century
About the Item
This Folk Art side table, made in Denmark and dating back to the early 19th century, is a striking example of rustic craftsmanship in the Wabi Sabi style.
Carved from solid oak, the piece has a distinct character, while still retaining its simplicity. The round shelves are supported by three legs, each decorated with unique carvings. Notably, the handles feature hand-carved animal head motifs - likely horses - giving the table a one-of-a-kind appearance.
The wood has aged beautifully, showing natural wear and patina that enhances its charm. The design features a main surface and a lower shelf, both circular making it a versatile object for both practical objects and beautiful decorations used in modern interior design.
This lovely table will complement many interior styles. A modern, antique, classic, Scandinavian or an Art Deco home decor.
