About the Item

Decorate a study or music room with this elegant and unusual side table. Crafted in France circa 1940 and built of elm wood, the antique table stands on two trestle pedestal leg decorated with lyre motifs. The fruit wood top, shaped as a mandolin, opens to inside storage; it sits over two bottom shelves for extra display. The table is hand painted with floral decor including a player dressed in Renaissance clothing playing the mandolin. The table is in excellent condition with a rich patinated painted finish in the red brown palette. A true one of a kind! Measures: 25.5"W x 11.5"D x 31.25"H.
