Early 20th Century French Louis XVI Style Rosewood Marquetry Side Table
About the Item
This early twentieth century French Louis XVI style rosewood side table features an inlaid eight pointed rosewood star in a circle of walnut surrounded by a fine border of lemonwood on the top. The table rests on four tapered square legs with an inset border of fine lines in lemonwood. A lower shelf also detailed with an inlaid star joins the legs and provides additional display space. A single drawer fits seamlessly into the apron and is fitted with a bronze drawer pull. c. 1920.
