About the Item
A beautifully crafted traditional Georgian Gilt-Embossed Green Leather Drum Table. With very fine Dove-Tailed drawers (Four are real and four are faux) and having delicate Brass Ring Pulls and inset brass Key Escutcheons. The wood is handsome and the drawer front panels utilize very decorative Flame Mahogany. The table top has Gilt-Embossed leather and the color contrasts beautifully with the Mahogany framing. The Pedestal base is comprised of a Classic turned Urn Form Support surmounting three gracefully carved legs terminating in powerful Lion’s Paw feet and riding on Brass Castors. The attention to detail, chosen woods, fine form and great condition all contribute to a most desirable piece of Georgian history. Lacking a key.
Dimensions: 28” diameter by 29” high.
Condition: Please see detail photos. Various signs of age include age marks to the leather top as well as some nicks, dings and lighter scratches to the wood mentioned for accuracy as the presentation is exceptional. The overall condition is good with some acceptable slight intentions to the leather top which do not detract from the exceptional presentation.
