The Goodman Studio has been internationally recognized for its modern blown glass vessels, and innovative architectural glass. Every piece created is one-of-a-kind and hand-made by our team in our Toronto studio hot shop or kiln shop. We work closely with individuals, interior designers, architects and developers for both commercial and residential projects. Our process includes sample fabrication, design, management, engineering, shipping and installation. The Work Our work is colourful, fluid and organic. Our products range from lighting sculptures and hand-blown vessels to architectural glass. The studio’s team of glass blowers and designers continually push the limits of their art by producing elegant and gestural forms. The Jeff Goodman classics are forever a signature of the studio while new designs and ideas emerge. An array of glass vessels is showcased at the studio, and pieces are also featured at select galleries across North America. Installations and cast glass designs can be seen in the Royal Ontario Museum, Toronto’s Hazelton Residence and Hotel and Toronto’s newest luxury hotel, The Ritz Carlton. The Studio Jeff Goodman established the Jeff Goodman Studio in 1989. He built a studio environment where designers, artists and architects can collaborate and fully explore the infinite possibilities of glass. The Studio’s constant desire to experiment and create continues to grow since Jeff’s passing. The calm, innovative and productive atmosphere he fostered remains a home for the group of creative artists he mentored and inspired.

Códice Side Table by Agnes Studio
By Agnes Studio
Located in Guatemala, GT
Codex or Códice means in latin a chunk of wood, it’s also used to refer to hand written manuscripts. Mayan and Mexica Codices were written in wood bark, mostly in pictorial Glyphs, but also using a numerical system that consists of dots and dashes and a special symbol for zero. In this series we wanted to translate and abstract this idea of the knowledge and essence of a Códice; the importance of communication and its evolution through time, through the wood carvings both in its geometrical and systematic patterned repetition of its drawer in contrast with the organic and random carvings made by the artisanal technique of “conchitas, hand chiseled by master artisans in Antigua guatemala.
