Late 19th Century Octagonal Side Table

About the Item

Very unusual late 19th century oak side table from England. The table is a great form. It has an octagonal top, which is beveled and carved around the edge, and is surrounding a hand carved decorated band as well. The apron has a lovely molded edge and sits atop tapered legs, joined at the base by hand scalloped brackets, which are supporting a lower shelf. The lower shelf mimics the top of the table with a carved banded design and beveled edge.
