About the Item
A Chinese late Qing Dynasty period side table from the early 20th century with square top, open apron, pillar strut motifs and cylindrical legs. Created in China during the late Qing Dynasty period in the early years of the 20th century, this wooden side table features a square shaped top with central board and rounded corners, sitting above an open apron. This apron is accented with a regular rhythm of pillar strut motifs present on all sides. The table will therefore be able to float in a room and be seen from all angles. The ensemble is raised on four straight cylindrical legs. With its simple legs and brown patina, this Chinese late Qing Dynasty period side table circa 1900 will make for a wonderful addition to any home, placed in a living room, hallway or foyer.
