Mid-20th Century Chinoiserie Slate Top Side Table

About the Item

Made in the Mid-20th Century, this Chippendale-style Chinoiserie side table consists of a slate top and a black painted wood base with parcel-gilt design. The apron of the wood base has an intricate stylized filigree structure and tall cabriole legs that culminate in claw-and-ball feet. Geometric patterns adorn the filigree in gilt while floral motifs cover the top segment of the legs. Dimensions: 28 in. width 17.25 in. depth 26.5 in. height 20 in. filigree apron clearance Condition notes: In good condition with general wear that's consistent with the table's age and use, including minor surface scratches to slate top and scuffs to wood legs.
