Primitive Antique Genuine Swedish Red Extendable Wall Table or Small Sideboard

About the Item

Primitive Folk Art table from Sweden, can also be used as a small sideboard. The table have most likely been used as a wall table or a window table where it is placed just underneath the windowsill. The locking mechanism to the door is unusual as it is made completely from wood - see pictures. Untouched original condition with original paint. The side meant to face the wall has never been painted. The leaf is 66 cm wide making the total possible width 137 cm. Made in northern Sweden, circa 1780.
