About the Item

Crafted in China's Shanxi province in the late Qing dynasty, this charming wine table was once a gathering spot for guests to pour wine and make toasts. The table's stretchers and legs were hand rounded to create a barreled form, meant to resemble forms of bamboo furniture popular in earlier centuries. Rustic construction and a timeworn finish add fantastic character to the clean lines of this traditional Ming form. Additional dimensions: Table apron to floor: 26.75".
