About the Item
Sett is a series of tables showcasing the innate beauty of marble and glass, inspired by a jewellery technique, where precious gems are inlaid and precisely ‘set’ into a frame. Designed by Luca Nichetto, the look is sharp and sophisticated, alluding to the influence of Scandinavian functionalism infused with Nichetto’s Italian accent on objects with visual impact.

Table top: Bianco Carrara marble
Production Process
Marble tabletop: The marble is cut into shape and then polished to get a matt finish top. It is then treated with a protective surface treatment. As this is a natural material, each marble tabletop is unique.
Frame: The legs are made of cast aluminium and the side rails are made of extruded aluminium profiles. Legs and profiles are surface treated with dark chrome.

Luca Nichetto
Luca Nichetto is an Italian designer who operates from his offices in Italy and Sweden. A graduate from the University Institute of Architecture of Venice (IUAV), he opened his own firm Nichetto & Partners in 2006. Nichetto loves to collaborate with designers from around the globe to craft compelling concepts using natural materials and colours. Merging classic with contemporary - with personality.
"I think the future is in sharing," says Nichetto. "It’s much more powerful than being alone. It’s about being open to other perspectives. The best results come when there’s 50 per cent of each."
