Small Size, Late Empire Wall / Side Table with Perfect Marble Top & Brass Inlay

Rare size, highly stylish and truly practical antique console table.
Sometimes it can be difficult to find the perfect piece of furniture for a small space in your living room or entry hall and that is exactly why we immediately wanted to purchase this small and highly stylish antique. Besides the ideal size for an entry hall setting, this also is a timeless design that will complement many other classical interior styles and the materials too are an absolute joy to look at. Inlaid in the rectangular parts of the front of this unique table is a brass lining that accentuates the design and makes it even more classy. The perfect condition, clean marble top is a later replacement. It can be lifted out of the frame in which it rests and underneath is a secret compartment in which there are 2 holes via which this table can easily and safely be screwed tight to your wall (see image 16). So if you have been looking for a small and handsome sidetable to grace your entrance or other room then this fine and rare size specimen from the mid to late 1900s could be perfect for you. It is a stabile as the day it was made and it has the most beautiful patina. The symmetry, the straight lines in the design, combined with the top quality marble top, make it extra classy and impressive. Apart from some truly minor imperfections this antique side or console table is in superb condition. In the right place and with a unique vase or sculpture on top this antique will never fail to impress.
