Spanish 1920s Tile Top Wrought Iron Table
About the Item
An absolutely amazing hand forged iron and handmade tile table from the 1920s. The base of the table was made in Spain and the tiles for the top were made in Los Angeles back in the 1920s and this was most likely k. One of the large Spanish Colonial style houses in early Hollywood. The hand wroght base features and eye catching design with interesting cross bases and a mix of wrought and forging techniques. The tile top is an egobe style finish(non shiny) that appears to be wood or gas fired. S
The tiles have such a great depth and each tile has so many variations in glaze. This table has been in my house for over 10 years. It's perfect next to a sofa as a drink holder or next to a chair, or even as a pedestal.

- Condition:Wear consistent with age and use. Finish of iron isn't smooth there is a texture to the finish and some minor oxidation to the iron but hasn't gotten worse since I've owned it. One side is 1/4 of an inch lower, but doesn't affect use.
