Questo tavolo-scrivania vintage degli anni '20 è realizzato in legno di mogano dalla ditta Jacob & Josef Kohn di Vienna, in stile del designer Josef Hoffmann. Le sue dimensioni sono H 78cm, lunghezza 80 cm.e profondità 50 cm., ha una silhouette elegante e raffinata, con un piano rettangolare, caratterizzato da linee pulite e precise, in linea con lo stile sobrio e geometrico dell'epoca. Le gambe sono alte e snelle, e decorate con filettature sottili e precise sia nella parte superiore, sia verso il basso, a pochi centimetri dal pavimento. Questi dettagli decorativi mostrano l'attenzione per la lavorazione artigianale e il gusto ornamentale minimalista tipico di Hoffmann. Il legno di mogano, con il suo colore caldo e profondo, aggiunge un senso di lusso e durevolezza.. Sotto il piano si può vedere l’etichetta che attesta il lavoro di J & J Kohn ed un incisione artigianale. Jacob & Josef Kohn, noti anche come J. & J. Kohn, furono produttori di mobili e designer d'interni austriaci con sede a Vienna. Jacob Kohn (1791–1866), insieme a suo figlio Josef Kohn (1814–1884), fondò l'azienda nel 1849. Successivamente, la Kohn sarebbe diventata uno dei principali produttori di mobili dell'Impero austro-ungarico, emergendo come uno dei principali concorrenti di Gebrüder Thonet. Kohn collaborò con artisti della Wiener Werkstätte e con Josef Hoffmann nella progettazione di molti pezzi.
