About the Item
This eye-catching large African sidetable was crafted by the Ashanti's around 1950 in Ghana.
This kind of woodcarving and furniture came to Europe via colonists and tourists from Africa, where they decorated European interiors.
Nowadays these souvenirs/memorabilia are very popular for decorating Wasabi interiors.
This sidetable is in very nice condition.
