About the Item
Vintage walnut Cotswold made octagonal side table, 1967. Cabinet maker's stamp - C H Uzzell, Lewis Lane, Cirencester, MCMLXVII.
Delivery included to the UK mainland.
Constructed in solid English walnut with wonderful figuring to the octagonal top, standing on an octagonal upright on four chamfered legs.
In excellent condition, cleaned and waxed, sturdy with no damage. There is a slight dent near the the centre of the top to note.
The Cotswold School was a development of the Arts and Craft Movement. The furniture is instantly recognisable with its simple lines, attention to the finest of details, and use of beautiful materials.
Cotswold School designs were crafted from local materials using traditional tools and techniques.
