About the Item

This is a low table that combines a Japanese antique wooden board and an antique wooden round stand. The top plate is made of high-quality Japanese zelkova wood, and is thinly sliced to a thickness of 7 mm. The beautiful wood grain that resembles the surface of water, which is unique to zelkova wood, spreads throughout the entire piece, bringing out the beauty of the wood to the fullest. Keyaki wood is also used for the table base, giving it a profound atmosphere. It seems that this table base was originally some kind of part. (A sponge is attached to the back of the table base to prevent rattling.) The height is low, so please use it in combination with a low sofa or stool. The top plate is 7mm, but since the zelkova wood is hard, you can place books, cups, etc. on it without any problems. The top plate has no major warpage, and although there are some cracks, it can be used as a table without any problems. The condition is good. Each table base is a rare item. You will probably never get the same table again. This is an attractive Japanese antique table. We recommend it with confidence.
