1700’s Kentucky Mahogany Drop Leaf Dining Table With Gate-Legs
About the Item
This amazing Kentucky mahogany table was hand made in the mid 1700's. Every element of this table was done by hand via carving, plane or forging. Over the years, there have been meticulous repairs made to the table, which add wonderful character to this piece! And, it pays homage to an era where immense functional value was placed on furniture, therefore repairs were made versus merely discarding these well-made works of art.
