Decorative French Table, Desk Oak Wood with Turned Legs, French 19th Century

About the Item

The table impresses with its honest and natural appearance with a winning look. The oak is waxed and already has a beautiful deep, aged color. The turned legs with the baluster at the top and bottom give the linear table a certain suppleness. The table top shows signs of ageing from the wood, which also gives the table additional character. 1 drawer lined with wallpaper and a turned knob provides storage space. The object is extremely decorative and timeless.

  • Square Italian Mid Century Sofa Table with Slate Top Attributed to Tobia Ccarpa
    By Tobia Scarpa
    Located in Salzburg, AT
Italian sofa table from the 1980-ies attributed to the designer Tobia Scarpa. The table impresses with its unusual design and restrained materials. In layers, different colored wood materials are placed on top of each other, thus appearing on the surface colored lines that taper from 16.0cm wide to 3.0cm wide. On the surface appear yellow-brown, red-brown and black stripes alternating which were then traced again and giving the table an artistic touch. The edges of the frame are rounded and they are soft in contrast to the linear table...
