About the Item
An antique Italian Louis Philippe sewing table, dating back to 1870 circa in good condition. A good quality centre walnut sewing table, finished on all sides, with turned legs and shaped top. One-drawer lined with Varese paper. The table is supported by Rocchetto turned legs.
It comes from a private family in Milan and is in a good age related conditions. The top table walnut veneer seems to be later and we presume it has been restored or replaced.
This artwork is shipped from Italy. Under existing legislation, any artwork in Italy created over 70 years ago requires a governative license for export called Belle Arti. The shipping may require additional 2-3 handling weeks to require and get the license according to the final destination of the artwork.
