About the Item
Wisdom cocktail table is conceived, designed and created by award-winning artist and architectural designer Michael Olshefski of Primal Modern. Inspired by nature and bonsai, this serene and sensuous table is a First Place award-winning design. A celebration of Wabi-Sabi, Wisdom showcases stunning and rare old-growth figured California White Oak with a meandering center reflective of a dry stream bed. The stone bed serves a practical function - either as a trivet for heated items or to absorb condensation from chilled wine. The origami-inspired legs are hand made from California White Oak that is gracefully sandwiched by aluminum with black finish. Wisdom cocktail table is a truly breathtaking work of functional art.
The piece as shown is available now for purchase. This design can also be made to order in various dimensions, materials and finishes. Every piece is individually handcrafted by artist Michael Olshefski and includes a signed certificate of authenticity.

His work is inspired by the ancient art and philosophy of Wabi-Sabi and minimalist modern art, architecture and design.
