Old Rip Van Winkle Barrel Head Table
About the Item
Unique pub or bistro table the top of which is an authentic oak sectioned barrel head from Old Rip Van Winkle Distillery, Franklin Co. KY stamped sour mash bourbon whiskey serial no. A set within a custom fabricated round brushed copper pan the sides of which are the visible edge for the barrel head top which is supported by a turned wood post in the form of an elongated whisky bottle faux painted to represent the bottle contents and applied with a facsimile of an Old Rip Van Winkle paper label sealed in clear coat varnish. The round black base is embellished with brush copper ring banding.
Overall quite hefty and weighs approximately 50 pounds +/-. The bottle neck of the pedestal stem fits into a black steel bracket support attached to the underside of the top ensuring robustness and stability.
