About the Item

This stunning walnut table, model Sapporo, was designed by the legendary Italian architect and designer Mario Marenco, and produced in the 1970s by the renowned Italian furniture firm Mobil Girgi. With a sturdy structure and refined, elegant design, the Sapporo table exemplifies the best of Italian modernism. Its most striking feature is the optical illusion it creates - the tabletop appears to float, detached from the legs, giving the piece a sense of lightness and architectural sophistication. Primarily designed as a dining table, its clean lines and sculptural form also make it an ideal centerpiece for a kitchen or office-a versatile and timeless statement of design excellence. The item is preserved in good condition. The final shipping quote will be provided by the seller at a later time according to the customer's location.
