A Very Fine 19th Century Library Table

About the Item

A very fine 19th Century fruitwood library table by the London maker 'Holland', of exceptional quality and fabulously hand carved with gorgeously rich patination. The well figured, fine grained and moulded top of rectangular form above a simple, shaped two drawer frieze flanked with scroll and sphere motif detail. Raised over elegant ring turned baluster end supports with beautifully carved gadroon motif, terminating platform base and bun foot with further sphere and gadroon detail, numbered and stamped by London maker 'Holland'.
