About the Item
Antique French Washstand Napoleon III Style
A pretty faux bamboo and pine washstand featuring a variegated grey and white veined Carrara marble top inset into a pine surround.
The piece exudes character and charm and would add a touch of elegance to any bedroom or bathroom.
Below is a full-width drawer constructed with traditional dovetail joints and bamboo mouldings to the front.
It stands on well-turned tapered legs that lead down to a recessed pine shelf. To each side are matching turned towel rails.
Overall the washstand is in excellent condition after passing though our workshop where it has been cleaned, stripped, treated for worm (purely as a precautionary measure) and finished in an oil finish.
The jug is not included.
