Chairs Screen Print by Marcia Grostein

About the Item

Fabulous and striking chairs screen-print by listed artist Marcia Grostein (Brazilian-American born 1949) of three abstract chairs with a newsprint collage that shows artist's names like Willem de Kooning and James Rosenquist. Called, Chairs, circa 1982 this was the 9th AP print out of 10, from an edition of 50 printed. This was part of her MoMa/PS1 exhibition where Grostein also exhibited her chair sculptures. Provenance Kouros Gallery NYC, via Albright-Knox Art Gallery. Image size: 45.50 inches high by 36 inches wide. Found in a new black frame with highlights of creamy gold that accent the newsprint. It's really a great piece of art!
