A Black Forest Rustic Liqueur Set with Decanter and Six Glasses
A rustic-style antique liqueur set consisting of a clear glass decanter with a matching stopper, surrounded by six small stemmed glasses. The set is mounted on a circular wooden base, accented with real deer antlers that serve as decorative supports for the glasses. The combination of natural materials and glass gives the piece a distinctive Alpine or hunting lodge charm. Germany ca 1920s. This type of handcrafted item is typical of Black Forest (Schwarzwald) or Alpine hunting culture and was particularly popular in the late 19th to early 20th century. The use of antlers and carved wood reflects traditional craftsmanship from that period, often made as unique drinking sets for rustic interiors or hunting cabins.
