English Charles II Silk Needlework with Figures and Animals

A fine example of an English Charles II silk needlework picture framed under glass with figures and animals in its border, and foliate decoration throughout, circa 1660 in very good overall condition, with some minor toning in the upper quadrant and lower right, minor surface imperfections, color muting and wear commensurate with age and use. Dimensions: 22.25 in H x 17.5 in W, sight; 27.13 in H x 24.5 in W x 1.75 in D.

Minor losses and wear to the giltwood frame.
